Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is a new MMO on the market, but has probably the fastest growing guides supply. There’s already more than a dozen different guides available for download, some are leveling guides, some are gold guides. Even before the game was officially released — meaning it was still in beta — people were writing leveling guides and then passing them along as complete guides for a finished game. Lots of players are therefore suspicious when it comes to buying Warhammer Online guides, and for a good reason.
Many people search Google and other websites for free downloads of leveling, gold and strategy guides. The number one website which people believe to host guides is Rapidshare. But not only is downloading those guides illegal, so is uploading. It’s also against the Terms of Use of such websites like Rapidshare, and you should avoid such practice.
Most of the authors who write these Warhammer guides are just players like you and me, but with huge experience from the game who want to share their knowledge and insight. They have invested a lot of time into playing the game as well as writing the guide, and making money off of it was not necessarily on their mind. Most of them thought about giving the guides away for free, but their time is dear so they decided to ask for a few bucks to pay off a bill or two. If you already paid for the game and you are paying a monthly subscription, it’s not such a huge investment to get a leveling or a gold guide. In the long run, it will pay off many times and downloading those guides from Rapidshare or other file hosting websites illegally is not recommended.
